Conditions for car rental in Mallorca

The user must

• Present your valid driving license, passport, ID or Nie.
•  Bank card debit or credit.

Car rental period

The rental days are computed in periods of 24 hours starting from the exact time the Renter has delivered the rented Vehicle and until the Vehicle is returned to the address of our headquarters at: Calle Manacor 123, 07007 Palma de Mallorca or at the airport if the airport service has been contracted, where the tenant must send us by WhatsApp or SMS justifying the time of return to the airport, floor and space number.

Rent Express Mallorca (Ade Elevation slu). Grants a courtesy period of 60 minutes, that is, 1 hour, counted from the date and time of collection, check-in and the time of return (check-out) of the Vehicle written and signed by both parties in the Rental Contract.

Conditions

In case of not complying with the previous period, the Lessor will be entitled to collect the rental amount from the end of the contract until the return of the Vehicle, according to the General Current Rate, the mileage, damages and a penalty for the economic damages caused that will amount to €35 per delay, adding this amount each day and extras if contracted, from the date the Check-In should have been carried out until the return or recovery and preparation of the check-out vehicle.

Translations of our conditions into other languages are informative and have no legal character. Only the conditions in Spanish have legal validity. The published images are merely illustrative, the client cannot demand a specific vehicle model but rather the category offered by our company without specifying the brand and model.

Important

If you abandon the Vehicle, in addition to what is mentioned, you will be charged €150 as a vehicle recovery fee plus all expenses and costs derived from the recovery of the vehicle.

None of the insurance or additional coverage covers refueling errors or letting another person drive who is not stipulated in the rental contract as a second driver. Breakage or loss of keys is not included in any of our insurance.

Return and delivery of the car

Returning or delivering the car outside of business hours carries a supplement.

All pickups and returns are free of charge between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Outside of these hours the following surcharges will apply:

• Early delivery (06h-7h59): €30
• Night deliveries (10:00 p.m. – 10:59 p.m.): €30
• Early morning delivery (11pm – 5:59am): €50
• Night/early return (10pm – 8am): €50

If the vehicle is returned before the end date of the contract, no amount will be refunded.
